Or both.I played it a bit, I guess it's not bad for a mobile game. But for those of you who know it well, how is it?More about how does Tencent run it. General comments? I noticed it's still full of shinny things to click. Every time you play you get dozens of 'boxes' to open, diamonds to collect and general shit that I have no idea what it does.
So typical Chinese attention grab on this one.Since it's run and developed independently, not like DOTA or LOL where they just use the Western product, I wonder how they handle the game and it's development. There are a lot of Chinese games, but they are absolute garbage from what I've seen, and this seems closest to the real thing, ignoring the fact that is ripoff.Bonus question: I never seen it, but I know west has Vainglory, which is the same as wang zhe rong yao.
Which came first?. Tencent owns Riot Games (or did, I haven't followed things recently), so a lot of the champions have skills directly taken from LoL champions. I would say overall the game is rather balanced and fair, KPL (pro league) used all but 6 champions this season so far. I wouldn't say it's P2W, but all skins give +120 max health and there are 2-3 champions that you can't get F2P, so it isn't all cosmetic like LoL.The boxes are usually for events, and the diamonds can buy certain champs, used to switch champs in ARAM and used for what is essentially slots. As for handling the game and development, they seem to balance the game pretty well, very reserved with the nerf bat and occasionally remaking champions. Developer response and handling are much better than most other Chinese games IMO.I've also never seen it, but it looks like Vainglory came out for the iOS in November 2014, for Android Mid-2015.
王者荣耀 came out November 2015. Yea forgot Tencent owns Riot games, although I think they aren't involved in anything related development of LOL (might be wrong). I think taking abilities from LoL isn't necessary related to owning the Riot, they would do it regardless, it's not something that you can patent (I guess), or even if you could good luck with courts in China regarding champion using spin abilities.Sounds pretty good overall then.
I recall me noob noticing that the more expensive the characters were the more OP they are, but I' not experienced enough to judge that. Not that I'm aware of. However, you can check pvp.qq.com and look at what all the skills and items and everything does (copy-paste things into a translator or get a friend to help translate), then it will be tough at first, but once you know what the items do, which buttons in the shop lead to which items, which buttons on the main menu lead to what feature of the game, you won't really need to worry about it being in Chinese. The champ's abilities are always in the same spot on the screen, the button for the shop is always in the same place.Won't be easy though.
