Together, they will try to stop criminals and deputies who don't want to accept the new sheriff. The guide for This Is The Police 2 contains information that will help you manage your police officers in the best possible way. Learn about the basic gameplay mechanics such us, e.g.
Choosing the right police officers for specific missions or the tactical combat system. The guide also features a walkthrough - there, you can find descriptions of all in-game days along with tips on managing your shifts. This Is The Police 2 was developed by Weappy Studio. Just like the previous game, it is a mix of a strategy and an adventure game.
However, it also introduces a lot of new features and mechanics. Unlike in the predecessor, your success here doesn't depend only on experience points but also on skills of your police officers.
The game also features a tactical combat mode where you can control your subordinates. General tips. Choose your shifts carefully - choosing police officers accordingly to their experience isn't the only thing that matters.
Your subordinates are capricious. One of your police officers can refuse to work if you pair them up with someone who they don't like. Take care of your police officers' loyalty - it can decrease if you keep denying your police officers to have a few days off. This can lead to a situation where a police officer will refuse to fulfill your orders during tactical missions. Spend pop-tabs on a regular basis - a successful day should provide you with a lot of pop-tabs. Usually, after a day like that you will be able to afford another police officer. At the end of a shift you can choose one of the three subordinates.
You get different police officers every day - collecting pop-tabs to have a specific officer is pointless. Don't forget to assign equipment to your police officers - you have to assign equipment to your subordinates at the beginning of every shift. You can do that yourself or you can use the option that assigns equipment randomly. Even if you forget to do that the game will still allow you to start this day. However, many of the potential solutions to the cases will become unavailable. Develop your police officers in the right way - every 50 experience points, your police officers get 1 skill point which can be spent on increasing one of the five attributes. Try to develop one of their skills to the maximum level as fast as you can to increase your success rate of completing a given case.
Don't be afraid to send out larger squads with less-skilled officers - this will allow them to get experience points. Doing that also increases your chance to solve a given case.
It can happen that one of your subordinates has enough points in a skill that is required to solve a given case. Avoid situations where you have a small number of police officers in a shift - usually, your subordinates either don't show up for work or they ask you for a day off. You also can't use detectives which means that all the cases have to be solved with an assigned shift. Having a small number of police officers in a shift can lead to a situation where you won't have any officers who can respond to a call etc.Gameplay mechanicsIn this chapter you can learn about the mechanics used in the game, e.g. Descriptions of the cases along with their solutions or information about the tactical missions.
in order to react efficiently to what's going on in the city, you need to build a reliable team. You will learn everything about how to do that in this section of the guide. the game includes missions in which you take direct control of your officers. This chapter provides general information related to approaching those missions along with more detailed walkthroughs.WalkthroughThis part of the guide focuses on the walkthrough for each of the in-game days.

platform: PC, PS4, XONE, SwitchThis is the Police 2 is a sequel to the well received game This is the Police. Similarly to its predecessor, the title is an unusual mix of features used in adventure games and strategy games. The title was developed by the creators of the first entry in the series, the independent studio Weappy. It was released on, among other platforms, PC, PS4 and etc. This is the Police 2 for PC, PS4 and etc. Takes place in Sharpwood – a small city located in the north of United States. The players assume the role of Lilly Reed, the new sheriff who will try bringing order to the city. Sadly, it won’t be easy as the city faces many problems.
The citizens are struggling with the lack of food and the city became the home for many criminals. What’s more, the subordinates of the protagonist aren’t used to receiving orders from young women. Situation suddenly changes when mysterious Warren Nash appears in the city. During the game the players will discover how he will impact the citizens of the city.Similarly to the first game in the series, the gameplay in the PC, PS4 and etc. Version of This is the Police 2 is based on two pillars. During the game players are managing the law enforcers, giving them orders and securing better equipment.
Each policeman features an individual set of advantages and weaknesses that make him seem more like a living being. The same goes for the citizens of the city whose sympathy must be earned – one never knows when a friendship with influential people might save life. In addition to that, players must make hard decisions that are usually very shady from the ethical point of view – the objectives can be achieved by sticking to the rules or by deciding to use controversial methods like cooperation with criminals. The graphics of This is the Police 2 utilize style similar to the one used in the first game in the series.
Despite its simplicity, the developers managed to create convincing characters and locations. It is worth mentioning that the main protagonist’s voice actor is Sarah Hamilton – the actress known from The Longest Journey series.
First, this warning will be divided into a part without spoilers and another with spoilers. I'll warn you, so you can avoid them if you want. This is the Police 2 is one of the most disappointing games I've played. And one of the worst sequels too. What I'm looking for with this post is that others do not suffer the same disappointment. I'll go straight to the point:The protagonist of this story has become a sociopath, and maybe even a psychopath.
Before playing the game I read a review saying that it had become more 'bitter', this is false. A person who becomes 'bitter' changes superficially, but not in his core. Our protagonist literally has all the characteristics of being a bad guy: he is corrupt (tortures innocent people, extorts, blackmails and can even send innocent people to jail) cruel, has no empathy, is an alcoholic, has no attachment to anything but to himself.I'll be clearer: these things are not 'optional'. Our protagonist will do these things without us being able to change them (that is, during the cutscenes or the story, which is the same thing). And they are not 'little things', as I said, you literally kill people who helped you, innocent people and policemen who are not corrupt sons of bitches like you.In the first game you could make small decisions, these decisions were a small satisfaction because you could choose to do the right thing (or not). But people complained that those will not change the ending.
What did the developers of this game do to solve it? They removed all the decisions! Absolutely all. Now you can be a corrupt bastard, whether you want to or not. Our protagonist is supposed to be trying to get rid of being persecuted by the law because he is 'innocent', but he is really a greedy murderer without principles. The developers of this game do not seem to realize that a new secondary character (Lilly, the woman with orange hair on the cover) is a thousand times better than this psychopath. SPOILER thats why the game becomes a garbage when Jack murders Lilly, when she was literally an honest cop.
He also kill Lana and Carter, honest cops too. END OF SPOILERI will not even bother to expand on the gameplay, to avoid making this an eternal review. I'll just tell you something: if the previous game you found funny, this will not be so much, they put in a VERY stupid feature of assaults, completely unfunny, mechanical and linear.
'Assaults' where the only way to solve them is through stealth. 300 policemen who do not want to work for X or Y reason, all this crap just go by to see the story, and this one disappointed me completely. Mechanics that come and go in the game and in the end do not make any sense.Do not waste your time.
Developers like their protagonist, instead of improving, worsened. I agree that the sudden change in Boyd's morals and character weren't the greatest.
Even if he really did kill someone in Freeburg, it should have been somehow justified and he was just trying to protect himslef or someone else. I felt like Lana had gone kinda crazy and was gonna either die or get arrested regardless. But when he killed Lily, I felt like they just pushed him waaayyy too far into the dark side. At the end of the story, I hated Jack for what he did and just as a character. Sucks that his character kinda got ravaged and the one promising character, Lily, was killed. I am also slightly disappointed with the story, but many actions have a reason.
Before Jack, the sheriff’s department was powerless. The smugglers killed the sheriff with impunity, no one could stop drug dealers. Lilly may have been an honest cop, she was a shit cop. She could not control the officers, she could not conduct the interrogation, she asked for help from Carter (who is also a very shit cop, even after using Lilly, I scored more than he did on the last day). Lana was one big problem too.
Instead of fulfilling her duties as a prosecutor, she arranged a hunt for personal hatred of Jack. Jack brought order to the city and department. But the fact that he wanted to kill Emma is really bad. In general, your whole complaint is the lack of various game finals. You expect that there will be a good cop Jack, who will easily get justice, but in fact, even after the first part, it became clear that there could not be a good final. I think This Is The Police 2 highlights the unfamiliarity with and perhaps even biases toward the US justice system that the Belarusian developers have in ways that the first game avoided. The story reeks of people who have never actually met any American law enforcement officers, they've only watched them on TV or read news articles that naturally only report on the most negative aspects. This is only exacerbated by the absolutely terrible writing. It's full of spelling errors, broken grammar and misused terminology.
The voice performances don't help either, but a lot of that is down to the script. You can only do so much with what these folks were given.
