I'm not one to jump down indie games at all.Quite the contrary. But wow, these games are just absolute shit.Aaru's Awakening takes poor level design and disguises it behind a gimmicky mechanic. It's basically Hotline Miami's shooting on top of a jump button. I consider platforming games at their core are fun when they try to invoke that 'full-body moving with the controller' type sensation. This game is just annoyance because you see how easy it would be with a mouse imo.Tower of Games is FPS drivel.

Barer in bones then a Serious Sam type game. Terrible graphics, the gunplay is weak, story is non-existent. It honestly feels like a FTP title in that everything is just very shallow.

The only thing missing is arbitrary time gates. So anyways that is just my 2 cents. I was looking forward to playing them, and after an hour on each.they're just whatever. Excited to try Never Alone, but Aarus Awakening isn't junk OP.Admittedly it looks kinda lame at first but once you get the mechanics of jumping and teleporting and the worlds crumbling around you it can be pretty fun and intense.

Pharaoh akhenaten tomb They realized they would need such a movable temple for their trek back to Canaan and they stole it when they left. The Jerusalem Post Customer Service Center can be contacted with any questions or requests:Telephone:.2421. But it was basically the same as the Egyptian prototype, for the standard Egyptian battle- shrine consisted of two rooms in a courtyard, with a smaller inner room for the deity, and a larger outer room where the priests worshiped the god, shaped of two bird-like cherubs on an ark, and so it is depicted at the temple of Ramesses at Abu Simbel. Because the Israelites had stolen it when they escaped from the city of Akhetaten. Like everything else of Tutankhamun’s it was made of the most precious and beautiful materials and the Israelites altered it to become their Mishkan, as reworked by Bezalel and Oholiab to the instructions of Moses.

So far the only thing I don't like about it is the lack of a close quarters melee attack (which i could unlock later maybe?) and how parts of the levels blend together. It's definitely not bad or garbage. Not GOTY by any means but it's pretty fun for something free. Oh ya it needs a better voice actor too it sounds like they just got a devs kid to do it on bring your kid to work day. Just give it time. Yeah, a lot of the games we've gotten so far havent been great (but a few have).

The problem is that the PS4 is a new system and there just arent that many AAA games (relatively speaking). It wouldnt make sense for Sony to start giving us the AAA games at this point. But in the next 6 months. A year from now.

I think we'll start seeing the free PS+ games start getting really good.Of course, good for some is bad for others. Ive bought a lot of the AAA games already and so those months where we get those games are going to feel kinda empty to me.

My biggest issue with Tower of Guns is that, at its core, its design fails in very meaningful ways. It has all the bells and whistles of a fun, poppy roguelite, but the gameplay itself, the thing you do from start to finish, just isn't there. The first impression is massively disappointing because of this. I only spent enough time with it to do three runs, but it just simply wasn't fun until I had two or three upgrades for my weapon. The gun leveling mechanic makes its own progress feel wholly artificial and punishes me for basic gameplay mechanics like taking any damage whatsoever, something the game is inherently designed for.

The punishment is exponential, too, because the worse my gun is, the harder it is to kill things, which means I have a greater chance of taking even more damage. This system could work (and has worked in other games) if the core gameplay was better. But, for a game called Tower of Guns (a title which says to me: platforming and shooting) the level design and gunplay are both cripplingly weak. It's a shame, because if it had the smooth play of something like Painkiller or Quake or Unreal Tournament, I probably wouldn't be able to put the game down.edit: that said, people are saying PS+ is weak this month. The game selection isn't great for PS4 users, but I always judge the monthly offerings by their value, not their quality, because Sony runs PS+ like a business and it has been very consumer-friendly to me in all of my experiences with it. This might change in the future, but I'm not disappointed as of yet - this month I at least got to try some new games I thought I wouldn't like and ended up not liking, and one game that I thought I would love and would have been very disappointed had I bought it (Tower of Guns).

I have to agree with you. Played Tower of Guns once and deleted. I'm usually pretty patient with PSN games too. It felt tablet quality to me. I don't mind simple games so long as they're engaging and its just not in this case. The ps4 is capable of much better.

Was this Sony trying to counter Ziggurat on Xbone?Aarus Awakening was a similar thing for me. I can tell the developers put some effort in to the art. Its honestly just not for me. I love 2d platformers normally too after growing up in the SNES days. For me this is the weakest month for PSN yet in the year+ Ive had the system.

I can tell the developers put some effort in to the art. That is what it feels like. They developed outside-in. The art was good, it was what you expected out of an indie game I guess.

Every game down the line has its 'unique' style that borrows heavily and yet is 'wholly' unique.Contrast is noir with a shadow interface. Not unlike an un-isometric Ico operating on a 2D plane.

In pop culture you could say it takes inspiration from movies like Sin City of recent fame, but many titles proceed that, And Fez as well in a switching perspectives mechanic, also Lost Tinker, vibrant with on rails no jumping. One simple mechanic as a follow through hook.Counter Spy is plain Spy Vs Spy aesthetics minced with procedural mashed rooms. It's on rails, so it is stealth Killer 7.They don't even try to hide it with the spy name and visuals. Just copy and paste of ideas. On and on with few exceptions of classics in between.I guess like all games.Edit: This is very rambly, sorry. I'm not paid for it.
